💥 WHAT IS A GOD CENTERED HUSBAND?

A God Centered Husband must be gentle like Jesus. It is not manly to be domineering. Those under our care should experience our tenderness every day. We lead by example, not force. We are patient with the weakness of others.

Are you a God Centered Husband? What does it take to make you lose your temper?

🛠️ ONE QUICK TIP FOR MARRIAGE

How to grow in understanding your wife’s needs.

Living with your wife in an understanding way requires you to gain understanding and then live in light of it. Establish healthy patterns of communication to help you study your wife and learn what burdens her.

  • Every day, ask your spouse, “What can I take off your plate today?”

  • Every week, ask your spouse, “What burdens did you have this week that I could have helped with? Did I do (or not do) anything this week that frustrated you?”

Every month, ask your spouse, “What areas of sin in my life are most impacting you right now?”

📕 ONE VERSE + ONE SENTENCE

“The LORD said to Moses, ‘Cut two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.’” (Exodus 34:1)

God’s response after his people literally broke the Ten Commandments was to start over. He is a gracious redeemer.

📚 RESOURCE HIGHLIGHT

Parents, teach your kids the Bible in 2026

Like many of you, I’m a parent. One of my greatest desires for my kids is that they would give their lives to passionately following Jesus. More than just “getting them into heaven,” I want my kids to have a life-transforming relationship with God that will shape their lives today (and forever).

In a world of distractions, kids need the Bible more than anything. Parents, you are better equipped than anyone to teach it to them.

So here’s my challenge to parents: read the Bible to your kids every day of 2026.

No matter how old they are,
No matter how busy you are,
No matter how unqualified you think you are…

Let’s make 2026 a “Year in the Word” for our families.

❤️ REMINDER: JESUS LOVES HIS BRIDE

Marriage is a picture of Christ’s relationship and his bride, the church. When we seek to grow as husbands, it can be easy to feel discouraged that we have failed to “love our wives as Christ loved the church” while forgetting that we are the bride whom Christ has loved.

“I tell you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another commits adultery.” (Matthew 19:9)

Christ will never abandon you.
